Hello Hotchkiss! Did we enjoy this year’s Homecoming Dance? After a day of big wins from both Junior Varsity soccer teams and both volleyball teams, I think we were all so excited for this dance.

Even though the theme might not have been the one you were hoping for, it goes without saying that the decorations were top notch. From the blue and white ornaments which showed off some Bearcat pride to the disco-ball necklaces, the FFC looked more decked out than ever. The coordination of our

line dancing impressed me, and maybe it even impressed the very vocal DJ. (I don’t know about you, but his singing caught me a little off guard.) I’m also curious to know how people felt about the DJ’s music; I’ve heard many mixed reviews (note from the Opinions Editors: we were sad that MB140 got cancelled, but loved the DJ!)

Personally, I thought the set started off a little rocky, but ended terrifically. Either way, a big shout out to the brave souls who entered the dance circles: you guys are real heroes.
