On Friday, October 29, the Voice Studio Recital showcased a total of 12 students who sang both English and Italian classical songs in Elfers Hall. Mr. Jack Brown, instructor in voice, applauded for the students who performed at the recital and pointed out the challenge of performing in Elfers with no microphone. He said, “Only two of the 12 students had prior perfor- mance experience, so it was remarkable how calm and collected the other 10 students were.” Following the voice recital, the Music Department presented the piano recital on November 2 and the instru- mental recital on November 9 in Elfers. Community members can look forward to the Spring studio recitals with more students ready to showcase their work!
